How Can swelling And Pain In The Ankle Be Treated?

Good evening. I am 45 and very active. I just received an antibiotic injection as well as a steroid injection for pneumonia. My BP upon arrival to the Dr. office was 170/80 and my ankles are swollen. Actually, I feel swollen all over. Here are my questions: Does pneumonia increase BP and is the swelling caused from the BP, the pneumonia or the steroid injection?
